Terms of Service
The rules of the road. Fair & Reasonable. Like a solid handshake.
Last updated: April 2026
- You own your content. Your feed lists, saved items, and Worker outputs belong to you. You may choose to share them with the platform or with your friends - at which point they own the copy you shared.
- We provide the service. We'll do our best to keep it running, fast, useful, and reliably.
- Don't abuse it. No scraping, no spamming, no using Workers to process content you don't have rights to.
- We can change these terms. But we'll tell you first, and give you time to leave if you disagree.
- Either of us can end this. You can delete your account anytimea, and we can terminate accounts that violate the terms.
1. The service
feed.works provides feed aggregation, full-text search, content processing (Workers), free Studio tools, and group reading features. We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee a specific uptime SLA. We may add, change, or retire features with reasonable notice.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- You're responsible for keeping your account secure. Use a strong password or a passkey.
- One person per account. Don't share login credentials.
- Provide accurate information. Don't impersonate others.
3. Your content and data
You retain ownership of everything you create on feed.works — your feed subscriptions, lists, notes, group posts, and Worker outputs.
By using the service, you grant feed.works a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service. This means fetching your feeds, building your search index, running Workers you've requested, and displaying content in your reader. We don't claim any rights to your content beyond what's needed to run the service.
4. Acceptable use
Don't:
- Abuse rate limits or circumvent usage caps
- Scrape, republish, or redistribute feed content in violation of the original publisher's rights
- Use Workers to process content you don't have the right to process
- Harass other users in Groups or shared spaces
- Attempt to access other users' data or accounts
- Use the API in ways that degrade service for other users
- Use automated tools to create accounts or manipulate the service
5. Payment and billing
- Free tier: No payment required. Use it as long as you want.
- Paid tiers: Billed monthly via Stripe. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
- Credits: Purchased credits never expire. They're yours until you use them.
- Price changes: We'll give you at least 30 days notice before any price increase. If you don't agree, you can downgrade or cancel before the new price takes effect.
- Refunds: We'll consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We'd rather lose a charge than lose your trust.
6. Product communications
The service includes first-party messaging about feed.works features — upgrade prompts when you approach a plan limit, credit balance notifications, and suggestions for Workers that may be relevant to your feeds. These are based on your plan tier and usage, not on scanning your feed content. We don't run ad platforms or display third-party promotions.
7. Intellectual property
feed.works owns the service, brand, and technology. Open-source components used in the service are governed by their respective licenses. OPML is an open format — we don't claim any intellectual property over the format itself.
8. Third-party content
feed.works aggregates content from third-party publishers via RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds. We don't create, endorse, or take responsibility for the content in those feeds. If you believe content accessible through feed.works violates your rights, contact the original publisher.
9. Termination
- By you: Delete your account anytime from your settings. Your data will be purged within 30 days.
- By us: We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. If we terminate your account without cause, unused credits are refundable.
- Data after termination: You have a 30-day window to export your data (OPML and account information) before it's permanently deleted.
10. Limitation of liability
feed.works is provided "as is." We do our best, but we can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will meet every specific need. Our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.
We're not responsible for:
- Content in third-party feeds
- Data loss due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Actions taken by other users in shared Groups
11. Changes to these terms
If we make material changes, we'll notify you via email at least 30 days before the changes take effect. If you continue using feed.works after that notice period, you're agreeing to the updated terms. If you disagree, you can export your data and close your account before the changes take effect.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. We prefer to resolve disputes informally — email us first. If we can't work it out, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.
